Barrel Aged Rum & Egg Nog

Rum and Egg Nog is an annual tradition in our cocktail workshop. This year things got started early as we soaked our Rum in Bourbon barrels for 6 months till it smoothed out the edges. Then we spiced it all to give it the Provincial glow-up with a mix that includes cinnamon, nutmeg, and other spices. Tonka bean brings a taste similar to vanilla caramel & dark honey. Once ready we delicately blend together with our fresh Egg Nog, Bourbon, Brandy, and Sherry. This cocktail is a pure existential delight.




A couple of tips for the newbies. This cocktail is 13% ABV – one bottle is to be split between two glasses. But if you’re having a tough day Christmas shopping, this drink is definitely needed. It’s best served over ice and let it rest for some dilution but if you like it full strength again who are we to tell you how to live your life? Lastly, its not a shelf staple, keep it cold and drink it before the end of December for premium enjoyment. Most of all enjoy it with a friend, call them up and tell them you have some amazing egg nog you want to share, it’s worth it.
