Operations & Experience Lead – Provincial Cocktails

The Operations & Experience lead run the day-to-day operations and customer experience at Provincial. The Operations & Experience lead will oversee and execute in three key areas of the business that include Tasting House, Events & Direct To Consumer. This role is for an individual that looks to keep things moving in a streamlined and organized manner. 

Provincial is a ready-to-enjoy cocktail company in Port Coquitlam, B.C. We manufacture premium real juice cocktails in house. We have an amazing 30 seat tasting house, online store, and special events tap truck. The operational & experience lead will be in charge of overseeing these areas weekly. 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Is a people person with the ability to relate professionally to all levels of staff, management, clientele, suppliers, and partners. Ability to handle conflicting deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks. This position will remain open until filled. Management experience is not required, however, would be considered an asset.

Duties Include: 

  • Manage staff, train, schedule, and monitor staffing levels and in-house communication with our team in the tasting house. Oversee the overall tasting house experience. 
  • Oversee operations and ensure all team members are equipped with the tools they need to do their job.
  • Schedule all shifts for Tasting House, Events, and DTC employees. 
  • Approve and monitor time tracking and labor costing
  • Updating systems POS, Inventory, Order systems and Online Order systems. 
  • Update project management systems
  • Ordering, inventory, and management of suppliers and ordering for all requisite channels.
  • Prepare daily stock for Tasting House, Events, and DTC inventory needs. 
  • Prepare the tap truck events checklist for events. Liaise with the team to ensure everything is stocked and ready to roll.  
  • Monitor customer communication in regard to areas that you are overseeing. Respond to customer experience needs and remedy customer issues.
  • Contact customers with issues to help assist in the customer experience.  
  • Partner with the Head of Digital to ensure a seamless omnichannel experience.
  • Keep the facility “Show Worthy” everyday in every way. 
  • Weekly reporting and a weekly recap of performance as well as weekly 1on1 with the CEO. 

Role Specific Tasks:

Communicate clearly with the team, set the level of expectation and needs as well as give clear direction to all. 

Company Policies

All work will be performed in accordance with all government laws, regulations, ordinances, and court rulings in those jurisdictions in which the company operates.

  • All routine work will be documented in an operations manual.  The information included in the operations manual is proprietary.
  • All work will be performed according to company policies and standards inherent in all position contracts, system action plans, employee manuals, ongoing policy memoranda, and facilities and dress codes.
  • Client and company information will be held strictly confidential outside the company.
  • All emails, and telephone calls, both internal and external, will be returned within one business day and within two hours whenever possible.   

Salary & More:

Yearly Salary: $40,000
Vacation: 3 weeks a year or as needed. 
Full Time: Monday to Friday

Are you passionate about building relationships, excel at working independently, and are eager to spread the word about our delicious bottled cocktails? We are hiring a summer sales representative to support our growing business. 

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • 1+ years sales experience.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
  • Knowledge of and passion for the bottled cocktail industry.
  • Ability to start open and interesting conversations with liquor stores, restaurants, and bars
  • Ability to safely and repetitively move flats, boxes up to 50lbs (with assistance from a dolly and ramp for loading/unloading).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic computer skills, log data in CRM and monitor project management system. 
  • Willingness to work flexible hours.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As the sales representative on our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintenance of existing wholesale and retail accounts as well as the development of prospective accounts through coordination of samples, sampling and follow-ups.
  • Represent the brands at various festivals and events across the Lower Mainland.
  • Executing on the sales plan with a focus on revenue targets and volumes.
  • Achievement of appropriate territory sales volume, revenue and share growth targets.
  • Establish business relationships with customers and accounts, advise/provide recommendations regarding products, promotions, and sales opportunities.
  • Actively communicate with operations and distribution on inventory control
    Submit and create sales, expense and forecasting reports.
  • Keep an up-to-date log of visited accounts, managers/RTD buyers and any additional information relevant to each account
  • Maintain a professional image and demeanor at all times – one that is authentically consistent with the individual’s personality and the brands.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00-$26.00 per hour
Expenses and Car Allowance or Company Vehicle if required.
Monday to Friday:  8-hour shift and potentially evenings or weekends (extra pay)
